Reviews for Pecorilo - Pasta fresca en Madrid
Review highlights
Based on 2,119 reviewsPecorilo - Pasta fresca in Madrid consistently receives praise for its high-quality, freshly made pasta dishes, with particular emphasis on flavorful traditional recipes like carbonara, cacio e pepe, and truffle-infused options. Diners appreciate the generous portions and careful presentation, which align well with the authentic Italian dining experience the restaurant aims to offer. The atmosphere is frequently described as warm and inviting, making it suitable for both casual meals and social gatherings. Service is commonly highlighted as friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive, contributing positively to the overall experience. However, some guests note minor drawbacks such as limited ventilation within the space and the use of disposable tableware, which contrasts with the otherwise polished dining environment. While prices are considered on the higher side, many feel that the food quality justifies the cost. Overall, Pecorilo is recognized for delivering a satisfying Italian cuisine experience with room for improvement in sustainability and comfort aspects.
Great Italian food in the heart of Madrid! We had a wonderful dinner at La Tagliatella – generous portions, beautifully presented, and packed with flavor. The truffle and Taleggio pasta was a standout, and the desserts were a perfect finish. Service was friendly and fast, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. Prices are a bit high for a chain, but the quality justifies it. Just note: tip isn’t included in the bill, so don’t forget to leave one if you enjoyed your meal. Would definitely come back!
One of the best pasta I’ve ever had. Freshly made pasta and cooked to perfection. We ordered the carbonara and cacio e Pepe. The staff are friendly and very knowledgeable of the menu. We’ll recommend and definitely we’ll be back
The pasta was so good we went twice in three days! Gustavo and Aaron did an amazing job — they took great care of us while we had the biggest gossip session ever!! The vibe was just perfect. We’ll 100% come back for more pasta! (Not sure how I’ll ever find a place in Switzerland that does pasta this good…)
Food was amazing and service was fantastic. I'd certainly come back. Two reasons I gave it four stars: 1. They have single use bowls and plastic utensils. It would be nice if they had an option to use reusable bowls and silverware. 2. No bathroom
We ordered Bolognese and Pesto pasta, just to have a light dinner. They were delicious and filling. The staff was helpful and service was fast. However, it feels pretty airless inside the shop. It is probably poorly ventilated. They should definitely handle this issue in summers.
What a charming and delightful little spot! Pecorino is a cozy restaurant that serves up a wonderful variety of delicious pasta dishes. You can choose from several pasta shapes and flavors, and each one is tasty and comes in a satisfying, generous portion. What truly makes this place special is the staff. They are incredibly nice and welcoming, providing excellent service that makes you feel right at home. If you're looking for a great pasta meal in a cute and friendly environment, this place is a fantastic choice. Highly recommended!
Tasty pasta and cute spot! The Venue: The place is pretty small but super charming and well-decorated – very aesthetic. There are only about 7 tables (max 4 people each), and it filled up quickly at lunchtime. Luckily, we got a table right away. What we ordered: Pappardelle Carbonara: Really tasty! The pasta was cooked perfectly and had great texture. Spaghetti Bolognese: It was good, but I personally would’ve liked a bit more flavor. Focaccia: Good! Service: The service was nice overall. The only downside was that my husband’s dish came out right away, and mine arrived like 10 minutes later. Thankfully, we usually share, so it wasn’t a big deal – but if not, his food would’ve gotten cold. Heads up: They don’t have restrooms, so plan ahead. ???? Parking: No dedicated parking lot, but you can find street parking nearby. Final thoughts: It was a quick and enjoyable meal. I’d definitely come back to try more dishes!
